Beit Mashiv Haruach · Northern Israel

A warm meal and a place to rest, minutes from the northern border.

Soldiers serving on the Israel–Lebanon border come to our house day and night — for a home-cooked meal, a strong coffee, fresh supplies, and a few quiet hours before heading back out. Your gift keeps the door open.

Our Story

“Mashiv Haruach” means the One who returns the wind — and the spirit.

We opened on October 8, 2023 — the day after — because soldiers rushing north needed more than equipment. They needed a hot meal, a familiar face, and somewhere that felt like home.

What began as a few volunteers with pots and folding tables has become Beit Mashiv Haruach: a house in Northern Israel where soldiers eat, resupply, rest, and breathe. Now we're expanding it — new sleeping areas, recovery rooms, and future wellness and therapy spaces.
